Rose Gold Hair from Garnier Olia - Unfiltered Pics & Review!
You'd have to be living under a very large rock not to notice we've gone WAY beyond a handful of hair colours. I can remember Aaron (who currently rocks a cobalt blue fauxhawk) mentioning that people with differently coloured hair always acknowledged each other in public with a nod or a wink - he says that doesn't happen as often now that coloured hair has gone mainstream, which is fair because what's more mainstream than your Mam turning rose gold?!

Tellybox Beauty Breakdown ft IT Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Clarins, Huda Beauty, Hourglass
Putting together the first What I Wore on the Tellybox beauty post but for real Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter (I wear shade 2) under Bobbi Brown's Skin Long-Wear Weightless foundation is the SHIZZ π¦
π Bobbi Brown Atomic Orange over Maybelline Matte Ink in Seductress ( #LifeProTip any bright lip sticks like glue to this neutral pink!)
π Charlotte Tilbury's Instant Look palette, with Kat Von D's Hawkwind lip liner (yep, lip liner) over Urban Decay Zero black eye liner. The Balm's Mad Lash mascara (mad for the smudging more like, WON'T be wearing again)
Bobbi Brown's Colour Corrector over Catrice Camouflage concealer (a Holy Grail!)
Highlight, bronzer and blush are all CT's Instant Look palette (it's legitπ)
Brows are L'OrΓ©al Brow Artist & powder to keep it all in place is Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting powder (that I adore but was duped into buying the sponge for, don't do that )
And c'est ca! HD TV ready in less than 10 minutes! πΊ

Tellybox Beauty Breakdown ft Clinique, Tarte, Hourglass, Urban Decay, Clarins & Laura Mercier!
Intro to Tellybox Beauty Breakdown - The Series:
Yes, I've been talking about these beauty posts for months now, but, as these pictures taken in the Virgin Media car park before I go back to IRL work can attest, I'm a busy woman. The beauty side of this blog has suffered and Imma try to right that wrong. I've been lucky enough to be a panelist on Virgin Media's Elaine on for over two years now ( I KNOW!). If you're not Irish, think of us as Looser Women - I'm biased but we rock. All outspoken, opinionated, hilarious women, unafraid to stand up for themselves and others. Of late I'm on the tellybox an average of 3-4 days per month, during my lunch from my day job on a Homeless Team. Yes, really.
Because I record on the fly, I get to studio with my makeup ready to go most days, other days the Virgin Media Makeup Gals help a sister out. Think of me as a Real Housewife of Fingal County. Because I already have a day in the office under my belt before I arrive, the products I use have to wear well, hold their own and look flawless on HG TV. In this series of posts 'Tellybox Beauty Breakdown' I'll show you exactly what I use, the great, the good and the Oh GOD save your money because, Lord knows, I'm not the only busy woman in the world. Helpful, right?
I'll also include a link to the Elaine TV show in question, so that you'll get to see the actions shots, so to speak. Unfiltered, unfecked with, these links will show you the truth (And more often than not, me on a feminist rant on national television- FUN!)
This week I used a brand new product from a Press drop, some holy grails and some old favourites. It was a good makeup day. Ready?!

Help with PMS, How I Cure Mine, Naturally!
PMS, premenstrual syndrome, hormotional times, mid month meltdown, red mist, whatever you call it, I've had it, since a staggeringly young age. I've been actively looking for a cure for PMS for most of my adult life, because, believe me, I suffer. If your time of the month, is preceded by hormonal Chernobyl too, the natural supplement Maca just might help you too... And/or keep you out of prison.

Kat Von D 24-Hour Super Brow Long-Wear Pomade Aubergine - First Look!
Hi, my name is Sue and I took more selfies in the hour following using Kat Von D's new Super Brow Pomade in Aubergine than I have in the past five years combined, because LOOK AT IT!
These 24 hour richly coloured pomades are just one of the three brow products set for release on May 7th in Ireland (before the UK)(ahem). Delighted with a sneak preview with the Kat Von D Team, and an avid fan of an eggplant/aubergine liner (and an egglplant emoji, let's be honest) I was only too happy to try the Aubergine Pomade. Even happier when I saw just how bloody flattering it is!

A Quiet Place ~ Movie Review (Spoiler Free)
Who's In It?
Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Millicent Simmonds
What's It About?
A Quiet Place is set in the very near future and features one of the last surviving families, following the arrival of unknown, terrifying creatures that use sound to hunt and annihilate instantly. Predominantly quiet, often silent, you never know when the jumps are coming but, BOY are they coming!

Boston Fly Drive: Mums on the Run!
A lot of you will remember that Cherry Sue & I were literally Mums on the Run when WOW air flew us to Boston in October. While Sue left her two sons to fend for themselves (they’re grown men!) I left my 5 little ones with my husband while we ran away for a much needed break. You might think that travel to the US is expensive but with the arrival of airlines like WOW air, that’s all changed. Flights start at just €159.99, making a stateside escape well within your grasp. Stick with us over the next couple of weeks and I’ll share how you too can have a bargain road trip in Massachusetts.

First things first you really don’t need to go to a specialist shop and spend a fortune to buy branded skiwear as budget alternatives are every bit as good at keeping you warm & dry.

Blogger 'Bullying' in Ireland - All My Cents!
If you have any connection to the Blogging or Influencer scene in Ireland you'll have seen some furore this week about online bullying. Initiated, in theory, by an Instagram account that popped up yesterday with the supposed intention to 'call out bullshit in blogging'that garnered almost 5k followers in a matter of hours (that's human nosebag nature). Some bloggers, a few of whom directly targeted by this account, took this as a cue to to start an 'Anti-bullying' campaign (which can only be welcomed). As ever with the blogging community in Ireland, I have thoughts. (You can hear them in person over on Stories HERE and/or you can read on.
