Although new to the Glossy Box game, if October's box was anything to go by, this month's was sure to be good. November's Glossy Box is billed as everything you need for your Winter Wishlist. If you'd like to see what's included, I have spoilerific pics after the jump:
Though contents may vary, my box contains: Vichy Idealia Life Serum, Emite Matte Black Shadow, Yves Rocher France Hand Cream, B. Smokey Eyeliner & Scholl Dry Skin Exfoliator |
The Scholl line of products all have one thing in common, they work. While their packaging isn't the most enticing nor their marketing hugely tempting, if I do have a persistent foot care issue I know Scholl will sort it, Mammy taught me that one. This Dry Skin Exfoliator (€5.49) is 'clinically proven to aid cell renewal' and that sounds great to me. I'll be giving it a trial run to see how it compares to Soap & Glory's Heel Genius, I'm guessing it'll be well.
B. Smokey Kohl Eyeliner: £4.49 |
Yves Rocher Hand Cream: £1.95!! |
(I'll be ordering a few more chocolate based treats from this site for Aar this Christmas too, say nathin!)
Vichy Idealia Serum & Smoothing Cream: €38.50 & €26 |
Emite Micronized Shadow: €19 |
While the packaging is a little off putting for such an expensive single shadow, once swatched the product is soft and extremely blendable. Again, this will be an ideal smokey eye base or applied with a dampened brush I can see it as a cracking liner too.
All in all November's box has a pretty decent array of products to see you through the winter months, all of which I would have bought in one form or another as the season goes on. It's definitely a winner in my book. The inclusion of Vichy (total value approx €9) make it a cracking deal for a €12.95 subscription.
