I was delighted to be invited along to check out the newest collection from high end favourite Giorgio Armani yesterday, titled, Maestro. Consisting of deep to bright purple, pink and coral hues, this is one of the most wearable Autumn/Winter collections I've seen so far - there really is something here to suit everyone.
There's a full post coming up very soon to give you the full low down with pricings and product reviews, including the stunning Maestro Complexion Perfector and the Maestro Eraser but I thought you might like a sneak peak at the what you can expect from this September launch.
Super soft autumnal eye shadow palettes & 7 beautiful sheer Rouge D'Armani Sheers |

Probably my favourite piece from the night was this face and eye palette consisting of a velvety face powder and three shadow shades. Heavy weight and with the satisfying click magnetic closing that I've come to love with Armani lippies, this one is definitely on my Lust Have list.

'I know, right?' |
'International Face Designer' for Giorgio Armani, Thoa Tran, showed us the beautiful effect that can be achieved with just your fingers, the Maestro Complexion Perfector and the Maestro Eraser. The result was luminous, completely transforming the lovely model's look in minutes with minimal effort. I'm seriously looking forward to properly testing these new generation of make up products.
So what do we think? Has anything from Maestro piqued your interest (yet)?
Oh my little heart started to race when i read your post Cherrysue.complexion perfector you say? Mm,now this has me most interested. face and eye palette looks gorgeous as do the lippies. are they releasing any new eye shades in the eyes to kill range? i own one and i adore it!
ReplyDeleteThere are Eyes to Kill, Laura! I'm wearing 28 (the golden one with pink pigments) since 7am and it hasn't budged, creased or faded. I'll get pics up ASAP x
DeleteDo you think it's better than the YSL one Sue? I bought it based on your recommendation before... Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks! Clarissa
ReplyDeleteHi there Clarissa, I'll have to have a proper play with it and use it for a little while to give you a proper comparison. It's very similar to MAC Face & Body to me but with a super velvety texture. It's buildable like YSL but only goes up to medium coverage.
DeleteHow are you finding YSL so far? I know I have to use La Roche Posay's Effaclar Mat as a primer to keep it in place in the warmer weather even though my skin is normal. I'd love to hear your thoughts :)
Thanks for the reply Sue, I appreciate it :-) I do like my YSL one but I find it slides off my face even with primer on. I've gotta get that LRP stuff and give it a try! I have normal to dry skin except for my T zone, that's an oily mess!! Love your blog BTW it has made me laugh out loud on many an occasion. Clarissa
