New: Clarins Rouge Prodige in Fig - A/W 2012

Following on from my introduction post of Clarins' Ombre Minerals collection for A/W 2012, I thought we'd have a closer look at one of the four new Rouge Prodige lipsticks. Fig. 

Clarins Rouge Prodige - Fig - €20.33

As with the other 3 newest additions to the Rouge Prodige line (Dark Cherry, Spiced Orange & Orchid Pink), Fig is a richly pigmented shade in the bullet. It swatches semi sheer, pinky brown with a silver microshimmer but there's little or no dryness on the lips as can happen as a result. Housed in the statement heavy weight, high shine gold, I think I've spent more time polishing and admiring this lippie than anything else.

Isn't she purrty? 

As you can see from the swatch above, Fig is a soft and moisturising on the lips. It's very comfortable to wear and, even without a gloss, it maintains its shine for up to an hour and a half. The wear time is closer to three hours though before there's a need for reapplication. 

Fig will be available with the rest of the Ombre Minerals range from Clarins from September. I, for one, will be hitting up a counter to pick up Dark Cherry as soon as it does.
