NOTD - Zippy Tips

It's been a while since my last nail art post so here we are, I saw something similar to this in the Jeans for Genes campaign. Though they were nail wraps and I'm not the most even handed when it comes to applying those blighters.

As with all my nail art looks this 'un's simple and only took 3 colours as seen above. Barry M Red Glitter (Stunning), Catrice's I Wear my Sunglasses at Night and Kiss' silver glitter Nail Art Paint. The pictures below show I used Sally Hansen's Wine Not as a base on first attempt but its really not needed.

You'll need to paint your entire nail your chosen base colour.
Using your black polish or your top colour of choice paint triangles at different angles.
Next step is to fill in your top colour leaving your triangle exposed (ooh er)
Using the glitter (or any metallic) paint 'teeth' on either side of the triangle
You'll need a solid triangle of glitter and an open triangle as the zip pull
Finish up with a couple of lines to your nail base, a swish of topcoat, a quick clean & there we have it!

What do we think? You can use any colours you have in your stash, just be sure that they're contrasting for best effect. I'm sure the original denim wraps cold be done very well with an on trend (I hate that saying) blue and a gold as the zip.

Will you be giving this a bash?
