NOTD - Nailish Chat Noir

Have been tootling with my new nail art brushes for the past couple of nights working on scaredy cats & the like for Halloween nail art.

This is just a little fella that reminds me of Paris. A good friend of mine lived beside Cour St Emilion in Paris for 10 years and we'd visit her every October for her birthday. Good times.

As per usual I like to keep things simple.

I started with two coats of gold and allowed to dry. A stripe of black across the tip will allow you to fill the tip neatly with red. A touch of red with a sponge makes a lovely halo for Monsieur Chat. I used this thin brush to draw the moggy freehand. That can take a go or two. Just make sure he's a humpy little fecker.

Either end of the tootpick can be used. Black for his ears and gold for his peepers. 4 sets of black dots also work to represent his whiskers. Be sure to use a topcoat to seal in your design.

The other nails are a simple gold with two little whisker-like stripes.

While I'm not normally a cat person, I wouldn't kick one in the belly so reckon this little lad can stay put for a day or 2 at least.
